Penny Lane Centers care for over 1,400 abused and neglected children and youth. They provide therapeutic residential services and education for teenagers, foster family home placement for boys and girls of all ages, and transitional housing for young adults who would otherwise be homeless, and outpatient mental health services.

L.A. Family Housing (LAFH) was founded in 1983 to help homeless families and individuals rebuild their lives through an integrated system of housing and supportive services. In total they own and operate 21 properties, including three homeless shelters and 18 permanent rental properties. LAFH served more than 2,500 people living in poverty this past year through it's multiple housing and supportive service programs, and has served over 10,000 people since it's inception.

The MCCN-Black Infant Health Program is a community service program dedicated to improving the birth outcomes of African American women and enhancing the overall health and well being of African American families. Mission City Community Network received funding fro the program in 2001. This program serves the communities in the San Fernando Valley. This is the only program in the Valley specifically dedicated to African American mothers and their children under two (2) years old.
The MCCN-BIH staff works to provide clients with strong psychosocial and educational support and assistance to ensure that their babies have the best possible chance at a healthy start in life.
