BABY BASKET CALIFORNIA STORES As we continue to expand our community outreach efforts, the concept of the Baby Basket Store was born. Through the cooperation of our non-profit partners, these stores offer underprivileged families access to clothing and other essential baby items. Our stores offer parents a more dignified shopping experience allowing them to personally select items for their baby. To often parents receiving donations have a much different experience, when those donations are handed to them in a plastic trashbag. We depend on collecting ongoing donor contributions to keep the shelves stocked providing this wonderful FREE shopping experience. |

Pacoima, January 2010 - The first Baby Basket CA store opens providing new and gently used baby items to The El Nido Family Source Center in Pacoima. These Family Source Centers (16 in all) were opened through the Mayor's office and the Los Angeles City Council to help underprivileged families in the City of Los Angeles. These centers provide valuable services such as job training, education resources and family counseling. Baby Basket California is proud to be a part of the El Nido Family Source Center and help support the many families seeking assistance to improve their lives. North Hills, July 2010 - Our second Baby Basket CA store opens through a joint effort with our non-profit partner, Penny Lane at their North Hills facility. For decades, Penny Lane has changed the lives of countless young people overcoming challenging obstacles. By providing essential baby clothing and other items, Baby Basket CA proudly supports underprivileged families making an effort to give their babies the best possible start with help from the programs at Penny Lane.
